About the Job We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Finance Manager to support the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. The plant serves the Malaysian market, as well as other markets of the South East Asian region, primarily offering valve bags for the cement & building industry, but also serving the chemical industry. Job Responsibilities Preparation of financial statements, reports and budgets Support month-end and year-end closing processes Monitor cash balances and cash management activities Generate and review journal entries and ensure compliance accounting policies Perform analyses of financial data to identify trends, variances, an opportunity for improvement Work with Group Finance to ensure compliance, accurate and timely reporting Timely preparation of audit reports, tax computation & transfer pricing documents. Maintain strong relationship with internal and external parties, including auditors, tax agents and other stakeholders Assist in the implementation and integration of SAP ERP from Dynamic AX Any ad – hoc duties as required from time to time. Qualifications & Experiences Needed Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant discipline.Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting. Familiarity with SAP is a plus. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions. Capability to perform under pressure and work extended hours when required to meet deadlines. Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders across financial and non-financial departments to enhance performance. Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
