Location – Kuala Lumpur Role Summary: As a Supply Chain Analyst, you are responsible provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches. Essential Responsibilities: • Designing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting, including distributed controllership, process simplification and internal controls. • Serving as controllership experts on financial system and ERP implementations. • Detecting and signals flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements. • Handling communication with colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis. • Contributing to project as a team member. • Performing month-end closing activities to ensure recording of journal entries and to meet business deadlines and requirements. Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent • 1-5 years of experience dealing in financial accounting • Possess strong analytical skills with proactive mindset, with the ability to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with good spoken and written English • Ability to work both alone and as part of a diverse cultural team • Be proficient in MS Office with a focus on Excel and Outlook Desired Characteristics: • ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage • Experience in Shared Service will be added advantage • A proven ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams and to build and maintain network within and outside Supply Chain Accounting • Possess positive thinking and attitude, professionalism, takes ownership of and accountability of the work product. • Self-starter with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines • Team-player and customer-centric attitude • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and computerized accounting software, knowledge in SAP or Oracle will be added advantage Other Requirements:- • Position : 1 (Maternity Cover) • Contract duration: 6 months • Other Allowances (Overtime): Yes • Rotation/Work Schedule: Monday – Friday / 8AM – 5PM • Working Hours Per Day: 8 hours • Working Days Per Week: 5 days a week • Location: KL Office • Does the candidate need to be currently in the role country?: Yes • Target Industry: Oil & Gas • Resume Keywords : SAP / ORACLE experience, finance, accounting knowledge, intercompany • Preferred Language : English • Tentative Start Date : May 2025
