The AI Business Analyst plays a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and advocating for AI-driven solutions that align with the bank’s strategic goals and stakeholders’ needs. This role involves engaging with AI vendors, assessing their solutions, and driving adoption by securing buy-in from key decision-makers across the organization. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and business-savvy, with strong persuasion and relationship-building skills. The other key responsibilities are as detailed below:
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Functional (job responsibilities)
- Explore AI Solutions: Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and vendor offerings to identify solutions that align with the bank’s objectives.
- Vendor Management: Engage and build relationships with AI vendors, evaluating their solutions for potential implementation within the bank.
- Business Alignment: Work closely with business units, technology teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges, recommending AI solutions that drive value.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present AI solutions to business and technology leaders, articulating the benefits and potential impact on banking operations.
- Influence & Persuasion: Drive adoption by obtaining buy-in from stakeholders, addressing concerns, and demonstrating the value proposition of AI technologies.
- Implementation Support: Collaborate with relevant teams to facilitate the onboarding, integration, and execution of selected AI solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Assess the success and effectiveness of implemented AI solutions, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver expected outcomes.
- Compliance & Risk Considerations: Work with compliance, risk, and legal teams to ensure AI solutions adhere to regulatory and internal policies.
Jobholder Requirements:
Education/Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience
- At least 2 years of project management or business analyst and related roles.
- Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in office productivity tools such as Google Suite and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges as needed.

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills with both technical & non-technical stakeholders, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audience.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to lead meetings and workshops effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide solutions to complex challenges in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
