CMM PROGRAMMER

Specific Duties • Program or calibrate the coordinate measuring machine (CMM) • Conduct quality control inspections • Perform maintenance as necessary • Work with a team to meet manufacturing deadlines Responsibilities • Use micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers and various other hand tools • Assist Quality Engineers in dimensional inspection of product for PPAP’s and investigations • Ability to develop work instructions for CMM set-up and operation for various programs • Compile and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to customers for approval • Assist Quality Engineer or Quality Manager to define and deliver responses to customer requests and inquiries related to product quality • Maintain documentation records and data on tests performed • Recommend quality control solutions to complex problems and implements corrective actions • Set-up or build special test panels to facilitate testing and /or evaluation as needed • Perform internal audits based on established criteria and records the results • Determine conformance of products based on data received from CMM • Assisting in the development of test methods and inspection plans • Determining the causes of product defects and reworks • Verifying all equipment is calibrated Ensure housekeeping is maintained at all times in your work area & co-operation to assist committees to comply with ISO 9001, 9100, ISO 13485 & 5S requirements, rules and procedures • To perform other ad-hoc tasks / projects pertaining to management duties as and when required.
