Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment and systems (pumps, valves, filters, tanks, etc.). Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure plant reliability and performance. Collect and analyze water and sludge samples to monitor the effectiveness of treatment processes. Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and test results. Adjust chemical dosages and treatment methods to optimize efficiency and meet environmental standards. Minimum 2 years of experience in wastewater treatment or a similar role. Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and environmental regulations. Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Computer literacy for logging data and generating reports. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Working Conditions: Physically demanding; may require lifting, standing for long periods, and exposure to noise, odors, and hazardous materials.
