Job Responsibilities - Responsible to arrange and execute all relevant purchasing and administrative tasks. - Ensure all goods are purchased according to company requirements. - Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods meet the dateline as required. - Monitor stock inventory. - Sourcing & negotiate prices with suppliers. - Raise Purchase Orders for all goods. - Responsible to arrange, handling and purchasing from local and overseas which includes shipping, declaring goods and SST for customs, applying for approvals from the authority department, etc. - Perform data entry for goods received. - To handle supplier non-conformance - To conduct new supplier and supplier performance evaluations. - To ensure pricings are acceptable/ reasonable. - Knowledgeable in FSSC/HACCP/HALAL. - Take part in stock check activity. - Take part in incoming and outgoing goods verifying. - Performing data entry for raw material (In Stock). - Performing administrative tasks not limited to filing, photocopying, printing, scanning, etc. - Any other tasks assigned by superior. Job Requirements: - At least 1 year of purchasing or equivalent work experience in the manufacturing / FMCG industry. - Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) and Autocount. - Language required: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (majority suppliers are mandarin speakers) - Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. - High accountability in providing feedback on assignment progress and issues. - Good planning and organizational skills and ability to multitask. - Knowledge and experience in handling Import and Export documents (eg: COO, CA, K1, K2, Form E, Health Cert, etc.)
