Rehabilitation Services Consultant

Key Responsibilities: A. Patient Care & Clinical Coordination Perform clinical assessments of patients’ functional status and rehabilitation needs. Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation care plans aligned with patient goals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure a coordinated and goal-oriented approach. Provide ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and adjustment of care plans. B. Indonesia-Specific Patient Support Provide culturally sensitive care tailored to the beliefs, traditions, and expectations of Indonesian patients. Explain medical and rehabilitation information clearly in Bahasa Indonesia to ensure full patient understanding. Address common health beliefs, dietary preferences, and familial involvement in decision-making specific to Indonesian culture. Advise the clinical team on Indonesia-specific considerations that may affect rehabilitation outcomes. C. Healthcare System & Documentation Familiarity Understand the structure of the Indonesian healthcare referral system (e.g., BPJS Kesehatan) and medical documentation. Liaise with Indonesian-based healthcare providers, embassies, or support agencies if needed. Assist with the preparation of documentation required by Indonesian authorities for patients referred from or returning to Indonesia. D. Patient & Family Communication Serve as the main communication bridge for Indonesian-speaking patients and their families. Facilitate family conferences and patient education sessions in Bahasa Indonesia. Educate families about the rehabilitation process, expected outcomes, and the importance of home support. E. Program Development & Cultural Integration Assist in developing Indonesian-specific education materials (brochures, videos, etc.). Contribute to service improvement projects aimed at better serving the Indonesian community. Train clinical staff on key cultural practices, language tips, and patient engagement techniques relevant to Indonesian clients.
