About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse and Logistic Executive to join our dynamic team at UPDATE PAPER SDN BHD. In this full-time position based in Perai, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient management and coordination of our warehouse and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment
  • Ensure proper stock storage, handling, and replenishment based on demand.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of warehouse staff, including team scheduling and performance management
  • Operate and manage system, keeping real-time inventory records updated.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and compliance within the warehouse environment
  • Implement and monitor warehouse processes and procedures to drive continuous improvement
  • Liaise with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure seamless operations
  • Generate and analyze reports to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing warehouse efficiency
  • Implement warehouse safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Improve warehouse efficiency and space utilization.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics management role
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations in the warehousing industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs
