Manager Channel Development
Job summary
Lead initiatives to enhance order fulfilment and service levels for DKSH Consumer Goods’ top key customers. Develop a strategic and collaborative business platform to drive sales growth for existing suppliers and enable quicker market penetration for new ones. Actively support CAM teams in expediting dispute resolutions.
Responsible for improving service levels with key customers. Directly accountable for driving improvements in net sales and EBIT, where applicable.
General responsibilities
1. Customer Service Performance
Enhance service levels for top 10 customers.
Conduct regular service level reviews with customers (including Synergize, FS & 4PL)
Participate in Top-to-Top business reviews with key customers.
Joint Business Plan (JBP) with Key Retailer
2. Dispute Management & Coordination
Act as SPOC for Exclusive team (4PL, full service) to manage key customer issues.
Serve as primary contact for E1 and E2 teams in resolving customer related challenges.
Work with NCAMs and GCAM to resolve key issues/disputes.
Oversee TT reconciliations with internal teams.
3. Special Projects
Lead and support regional CAM projects, especially those related to strategic partners like Tesco Asia.
Be the point of contact for regional centers of excellence.
- Collaborate on strategic supplier partnership programs with client.
4. Trading Terms
Vet and endorse trading terms to ensure compliance with DKSH guidelines.
Manage the reconciliation of the annual trading terms.
Champion the accuracy and consistency of trading term execution.
5. Lead and guide cross-functional teams (CAM, Client Management, Supply Chain) to ensure effective execution.
Oversee delivery of team goals in alignment with customer service and business performance objectives.
Foster team development, encouraging continuous learning and alignment with DKSH values.
Drive a high-performance culture with a focus on customer satisfaction and executional excellence.
Functional skills and knowledge
Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
Proven customer development/account management experience in fast moving consumer goods
Demonstrate a general understanding in all aspects of supplier and customer relationship management including supply chain, field marketing and branding
Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
Ability to multitask and communicate clearly and concisely.
Agile in implementing fast-paced online environment onto DKSH.
Demonstrate ability to work and collaborate in a team setting.
Proactive, responsible, organized and able to work independently.
Good level of computer literacy
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or related fields
Work experience
Minimum three to five years’ experience in a similar role
Minimum two to three years’ experience in a managerial capacity
