Responsibilities:
- Ensure all site operations are conducted in accordance with applicable safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee and enforce compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
- Perform routine site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure safety compliance.
- Analyze near misses, incidents, and accidents to determine root causes and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training sessions and briefings to staff and subcontractors.
- Lead investigations of workplace accidents or incidents and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company procedures and statutory requirements.
- Carry out special assignments, ad hoc tasks, and other relevant duties as needed.
- Ensure daily site activities comply with health, safety, environmental, legal, and corporate standards.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Safety, Health & Environmental or equivalent qualification.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in construction project.
- Possession of a valid Yellow Book issued by the Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), Malaysia, is an added advantage.
- Willing to work 6 days a week.
- Preference will be given to candidates based in Penang.
