  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

About the Team:
The Cross Border team at Shopee empowers sellers from all over the world to sell into the Southeast Asia and Taiwan region. The team helps sellers to market their products across the 7 markets and provide enabling services such as cross-border logistics, operations, payments, product-related services, overseas warehouse fulfilment and business intelligence.
Job Description:
  • Main Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is to drive Cross Border performance and business growth across multiple categories in Malaysia
  • Train and manage a team of Cross Border Category PICs to grow and manage their respective categories within the cluster
  • Work with various stakeholders to develop and implement the growth strategy for the categories, including the Seller
  • Management teams (based in China / Korea / Japan / Indonesia / Vietnam etc.), Cross Border enabling regional function teams (such as Logistics, Product, Payment, Warehouse etc.) and local teams (such as Marketing, Operations, Business Development etc.)
  • Help bridge the gap between the various seller offices, the regional teams, and local teams
  • Develop and execute seller programs, initiatives, and promotion strategies to drive Cross Border business growth for the cluster
  • Continuously analyse the internal and external environment to ensure that Cross Border sellers in the categories under management remain highly competitive within markets
Requirements:
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to facilitate cross-border discussions and collaborations across stakeholders
  • eCommerce experience, or consulting experiences will be an added advantage
  • Strong ability to manage and groom a young and dynamic team
  • Possess strong analytical skill and sensitivity to data
  • Strong ability to execute, deal with uncertainty, learn fast and manage projects from end to end
  • Strong communications skills and stakeholder management
