MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

  • Able to direct and manage development of project from the beginning to the end of the project.
  • Able to define project scope, goals and deliverables that support project goals.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • To estimate the resources and manpower's required to achieve project goals/target.
  • Able to constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
  • To take the lead on all the Project execution and completion matter including the construction matter.
  • To work closely with Construction Manager on carrying out excellent plan ahead work for the seek of the completion of work without LAD.
  • To liaise with Client/Client Representative on contractual, commercial and construction matter which ever seek to necessary.
  • To protect the company interest especially the contractual and commercial with client or subcontractor.
  • To attend all the client meeting on getting the first hand information pertaining to our contract.
  • To lead and work closely with Project Management Team (Construction Manager, Project Engineer, QC/QA & Safety Personnel, & etc.) for all project related Progress and Authority Approval Matter.
  • To delegate all tasks and responsibilities to designated project management team.
  • To identify and resolve all issues and conflicts arise within the project teams.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
  • To understand the contract and overall scope of works specify in the contract document including preparation and submission of any contract required documents (like request of project completion certificate, extension of times request, variation order & etc.).
  • To understand the contract and overall scope of works specify for all vendors/sub-contractors document including issuing/verification any contract related issues (like LAD, EOT, project completion certificate, Extension of Times Request, variation order & etc.).
  • Preparation of work progress report and other relevant reports for the project.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or other relevant studies.
  • Minimum 5 years work experiences in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in the pipeline industry is added advantages.
  • Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
  • Willing to travel outstation within Peninsular Malaysia.
  • Willing to be in site operations to monitor all the ongoing projects.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Posses own transport and valid driving license (Compulsory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
