Job Summary:

The Executive – Certification & Compliance is responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining all certification and regulatory compliance requirements relevant to the company’s operations. The role ensures that the company complies with applicable standards, licenses, and regulations while supporting continuous improvement in quality and process governance.

Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all products comply with Malaysian laws eg:-
  • Food Act 1983
  • Food Regulations 1985
  • Halal Certification
  • MESTI, GMP, HACCP standards
  • Monitor and interpret new or changing food-related regulations (from MOH, JAKIM, DOF, etc.).
  • Handle submissions to regulatory bodies (e.g., product registration, label approvals).
  • Manage communications with authorities for inspections, audits, or inquiries.
  • Maintain and update regulatory documentation and databases.

2. Certification Management

  • Coordinate applications/renewals for any company’s certifications and licenses
  • Act as liaison during audits from certifying bodies.

3. Testing & Analysis

  • Liaise with external accredited labs for product testing (if needed).
  • Ensure results meet specifications and food safety standards.

4. Document Control

  • Maintain QC records (inspection reports, non-conformance reports, corrective actions).
  • Prepare monthly QC performance reports.

5. Internal Audits

  • Participate in internal audits for food safety and quality systems.
  • Help prepare for external customer audits.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Malaysian food regulations and certifications (MESTI, GMP, HACCP, HALAL, ISO 22000) is an added advantage
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills (with internal teams, authorities, certifying bodies).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
