About the role
Join our dynamic team at VSTECS KUSH SDN. BHD. as a Credit Assistant. This full-time position is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, where you will play a crucial role in our credit operations, supporting the credit and finance functions. As a Credit Assistant, you will be an integral part of ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our client accounts.
What you'll be doing
- Processing the credit applications within established policies and procedures
- Conducting credit checks and risk assessments on potential clients
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client accounts and credit information
- Verify payment details and perform daily payment clearance
- Follow up on overdue payment and achieve total group debtor aging
- Providing support to the credit and finance teams as needed
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a credit or finance-related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
