    To plan and direct sales, marketing and business development activities in assigned region or product lines to achieve sales volume, pricing and selling cost objectives by implementing consistently the sales strategy, using technical, organisational and market knowledge/intelligence.

    Job tasks would encompass:

    • Build and maintain professional relationships with key and potential business partners, especially large-volume and prospective customers.
    • Conduct market research via visits, calls, interviews etc. to identify and understand business partners’ expectations and needs.
    • Work with successful/ effective sales colleague to understand business partners’ needs/ profiles/ problems via understudy them and active participate in meetings/ discussions.
    • Work with the supervisor in implementing defined sales & marketing activities such as cost targets vs. supply vs. sales, incentive plans, product portfolio streamlining, product applications and product flows etc. to support optimizing sales growth in the region.
    • Identify and provide technical support to ensure superior customer services and quality, continuity of product and/or application introduction and timely know-how exchange
    • Develop sales and marketing proposals to trace customers’ needs on consumption analysis, product/ service performance, technical or specialty needs.
    • Make regular sales calls/ visits to develop professional relationships and follow-up on needs with the aim to close deals and finalize orders.
    • Report to the supervisor on the business performance to help track the market development and trends monthly.
