QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER WORK LOCATION: SITE OFFICE JKR LABUAN FULL TIME POSITION About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join Barisan Gemilang Construction Sdn Bhd as Quality Assurance Officer. In this full-time position based in Site Office JKR Labuan, you will responsible for ensuring projects meet quality standards, comply with regulations, and minimize risks. This role involves developing and implementing quality management systems, conducting inspections, and identifying areas for improvement. They work to ensure that the final product aligns with the client’s expectations and industry standards. Job Descriptions: 1) Defining quality objectives, responsibilities, and requirements for materials, workmanship, and safety. 2) Regularly checking materials, processes, and construction work to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. 3) Finding and correcting issues or defects that may arise during construction. 4) Verifying that the project adheres to building codes, industry standards, and client requirements. 5) Reporting on project quality, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, and participating in client meetings. 6) Educating construction workers and subcontractors on quality assurance procedures and requirements. 7) Creating and managing records of inspections, audits, and other relevant information. 8) Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance quality and efficiency. Job Requirements: 1) Possess a relevant technical Degree from a university recognized by the Government of Malaysia. 2) Possess not less than 5 years experience in the construction of industry. 3) Possess a Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Green Card. 4) Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the implementation of MS ISO 9001 in the construction industry, or Has attended field internal audit activities for MS ISO 9001, or Possess Internal Auditor Certificate from agency/body recognized by MAMPU. 5) Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. 6) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
