Job Description


You will support Operations team in the performance of logistics related matters not limited to the followings:

Shipment Coordination:

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor all import and export shipments.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs brokers to ensure smooth transportation and delivery.
  • Track shipments and resolve issues related to delays, damages, or documentation discrepancies.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
  • Verify import, export and local transportation invoices and submit to finance department.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trade policies and regulations.

Cost Control:

  • Negotiate with freight forwarders and transportation companies to obtain competitive rates.
  • Monitor and manage shipping costs to optimize the logistics budget.
  • Review freight and logistics budgets, working to minimize unnecessary expenses.
  • Assess different shipping modes and routes to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transportation costs
  • Prepare and maintain regular reports on logistics cost, performance, shipment status
  • Analyze freight data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and inefficiencies

Logistics Operations Support

  • Handle goods receipt and invoicing for intercompany purchase order in Discos II.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of stock movement.
  • Prepare Re-Rent purchase order including delivery and return arrangement with warehouse team.
  • Assist Demand Planning Manager in updating and maintaining target plan project's return data to support accurate inventory planning and demand forecasting

Collaboration & Problem Solving:

  • Assist Demand Planning Manager to work closely with internal teams to forecast and plan logistics needs accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding shipping schedules and updates.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to logistics, transportation, and customs clearance.
  • Handle unexpected delays and emergencies with quick, effective solutions.

Qualifications


Personal Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation.
  • Experience with international shipping, customs regulations, and documentation is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Discos II, SAP, Oracle) is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, shipping documentation, and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of cost control and budget management in logistics operations
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, especially related to shipping and transportation issues.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently
  • Ability to work in a MNC environment and working with external stakeholders
  • Good proficiency in English.
