Job Summary:

Kiddocare is seeking a passionate and nurturing Playschool Teacher to join our team. As a Playschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where young children can learn and grow. Your responsibilities will include implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering social and cognitive development, and ensuring the well-being of each child under your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons to meet the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of young children.
  • Create a welcoming and supportive environment that promotes learning through play, exploration, and discovery.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observe and assess children's development and progress, and communicate findings to parents and supervisors as needed.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, following health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities and maintain a cohesive educational environment.
  • Encourage and model positive behaviour and social skills, fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom community.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and developmental milestones.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with young children in a playschool, day-care, or early childhood setting.
  • Passion for working with children and creating a nurturing learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude towards children's learning and development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR (Plus point).
