- Conduct daily site quality work inspection to ensure compliance with the project’s specifications, quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Monitor project teams’ adherence to the approved work methodologies.
- Monitor workmanship to prevent defects and substandard work.
- Ensure that all materials used meet the approved specifications and quality standards.
- Report non-conformances to project team and ensure project team are following up on corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain quality control inspection reports, including photographic evidence and recommendations for remedial actions.
- Assist in reviewing and approving method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs) and quality control procedures.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights on quality issues, risks and mitigation measures.
- Ensure that safety and environmental regulations related to quality control are adhered to at all times.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary quality records, reports, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Possess Degree in Civil Engineering/Building Technology/Construction Management or its equivalent.
- Minimum 6 – 8 years’ working experience preferably from a building and construction industry in a similar position.
- Conversant in bilingual languages, namely English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with strong inclination towards quality management practices.
- Knowledgeable in ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Standard and provide unlimited support for the implementation and on-going maintenance for the Company’s Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health Management System (QESHMS).
