Job Description
- Responsible in investigations throughout the respective Region and state.
- Execute Security policies to ensure the physical and system security of all SPX Xpress premises.
- Implement Security standards operating procedures (SOP) and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement Security policies in accordance with relevant rules and regulations.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement effective Security policies, guidelines, and procedures to achieve department objectives.
- Monitor Security Service Providers' performance, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and validate monthly payments to ensure compliance with agreements.
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to Security standards and policies.
- Directly participate in the coordination and planning of physical security matters.
- Assess additional requests from Operations and evaluate the necessity for Security measures.
- Observe daily Security operations conducted by Service Providers, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Maintain records for attendance, reports submission, guards master data, and non-compliances from all Security Service Providers.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years in security investigations or security operations. Experience in the logistics industry is an added advantage.
- Those with previous Military or Police backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to independently handle and manage tasks assigned.
- Able to respond to the call of duty (night operations, weekend operations) as and when required
- Fluent in Malay and intermediate English.
