JOB PURPOSE:

  • Support and manage the implementation of MISC Group’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) activities/programs to monitor, manage and mitigate business risk/s to safeguard shareholders’ return and the Group’s business sustainability.

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)

  • Conduct, prepare and support the Manager, ERM to perform the annual review of risk registers for Business Units, Service Units and Subsidiaries to ensure that the relevant and key risks are being monitored and that appropriate risk indicator thresholds are set.
  • Support and prepare the quarterly review of risk scorecards to ensure comprehensive tracking, mitigation and reporting of risks. This includes the reporting of quarterly ERM reports to PETRONAS.
  • Conduct research and monitoring of material and related risks and opportunities for the Group, for effective monitoring of the Group’s Corporate Risk Profile, including research on emerging risks, trends and opportunities.
  • Support the Manager, ERM to coordinate and conduct the annual First Line Assurance exercise across the Group, under the ERM scope.
  • Support in driving the collaboration with respective risk focals in the implementation / review of risk initiatives.
  • Act in the role of the Group’s focal point for ERM matters.

Risk Assessment in Decision Making (RADM)

  • Support the RADM implementation across the Group
  • Coordinate and support the Manager, ERM to facilitate the risk assessment performed by BUs/SUs/subsidiaries to ensure adherence to the RADM guideline.
  • Challenge and review the risks and mitigation identified and develop the final risk assessment report for Chief Risk Officer/ Chief Group Strategy & Sustainability sign off.

Project Risk Assessment (PRA)

  • Support the Manager, ERM to review PRAs prepared by Units to help ensure that PRA processes are implemented in accordance with established standards and procedures to safeguard shareholders’ investment and the Group’s assets.
  • Support the implementation of the PRA Framework across the Group.

REQUIREMENT & QULATIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge in Maritime or Oil & Gas industry would be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Studies / Economics or equivalent.
