Job Responsibility
- Assist in taking off quantities and preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ).
- Support in cost estimation, budgeting, and tender documentation.
- Help review project drawings, specifications, and documents to prepare cost analyses.
- Assist in evaluating subcontractor quotations and preparing comparison sheets.
- Participate in site visits to gather measurements and monitor work progress.
- Assist with progress claims, interim valuations, and final account preparation.
- Support in managing project documentation and filing system.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors as needed.
- Help in updating material and labor cost databases.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Basic understanding of construction methods, contracts, and cost management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with AutoCAD or QS software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft) is a plus.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Willingness to learn and work on-site when required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
