Job Responsibility

  • Assist in taking off quantities and preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ).
  • Support in cost estimation, budgeting, and tender documentation.
  • Help review project drawings, specifications, and documents to prepare cost analyses.
  • Assist in evaluating subcontractor quotations and preparing comparison sheets.
  • Participate in site visits to gather measurements and monitor work progress.
  • Assist with progress claims, interim valuations, and final account preparation.
  • Support in managing project documentation and filing system.
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors as needed.
  • Help in updating material and labor cost databases.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Basic understanding of construction methods, contracts, and cost management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with AutoCAD or QS software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft) is a plus.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and work on-site when required.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
