Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design development effort of new boutiques from concept design through construction documentation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with tenant coordinators and mall managers in all applicable forms and locations.
- Work closely with the local and regional contractors in the renovation of existing or development of new stores from project initiation to boutique opening.
- Conduct tender briefing and bidding process for each new project, perform cost comparison analysis of contractors and sub-contractors to maintain cost controls and review material for management’s approval.
- Coordinate store layout improvements rollouts consisting of boutique configurations and/or upgrades of existing boutique.
- Undertake creative projects from concept to completion, ensuring that design solutions are visually compelling and in line with brand guidelines.
- Use relevant software programs to visualize and develop renderings or drawings to meet project goals.
- Work closely with Visual Merchandisers in planning and implementing the window display and merchandise display at boutiques.
- Work with Sales & Marketing team to ensure marketing and sales promotions are set up in ways that attract attention and draw prospective consumers.
- Oversee project capex budgets, schedules and project design.
- Oversee the construction and completion of each location to ensure standards of quality are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Requirements
- University degree, BA, MA in Architecture or Interior Design is preferred.
- Certification in PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus.
- Must have project management experience in retail environment.
- Good stakeholders’ management experience including dealing with contractors and mall operators.
- Strategic Thinking and great foresight.
- Good budgeting and general math skills.
- Attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Efficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of design drawings and project documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-starter with leadership quality.
- Able to work independently while still a team player.
