Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Coherent Corp Financial Close, Consolidation, Reporting, Annual Operating Plan and Forecasting process and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain month and quarter-end financial packages and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Assist in the collection, entry, review and presentation of forecast, Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Plan data into Hyperion Planning.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures.
  • Provide support resources for Finance staff on financial consolidation, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Maintain up-to-date procedures and documentation to support and utilize the financial consolidation and reporting system.
  • Assist with tracking of Restructuring savings, expense, capital expenditures, and working capital requirements.
  • Lead and collaborate on various ad hoc requests.

Education & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Science or related area.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis experience, preferably in a complex global organization
  • Experience in Hyperion Planning and SmartView a plus
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Oracle experience a plus
  • Experience with a vertically integrated organization, preferably a manufacturing environment

Working Conditions

  • This role is hybrid.
