Senior Government Partnerships & Contracts Manager
We’re looking for a seasoned professional to lead the business side of our work with the government. You’ll manage how we plan, price, and deliver government technology projects—from writing proposals to ensuring projects run smoothly and on budget.
This role connects the dots between business goals, government requirements, and technical solutions.
You’ll be the go-to person for all things commercial and operational when we work with ministries, agencies, and other public bodies. If you enjoy working at the intersection of business, technology, and public service, this is for you.
What You'll Do
1. Lead Government Business Strategy
- Take ownership of our business and pricing strategy for government projects.
- Develop cost models, plan budgets, and negotiate financial terms.
- Make sure projects are profitable and meet contract obligations.
2. Handle Proposals & Contracts
- Lead the preparation of proposals and responses to government tenders.
- Work with legal and finance teams to make sure all paperwork is compliant and financially sound.
- Align internal teams to ensure we can deliver what we promise in proposals.
3. Be the Government Liaison
- Act as our main point of contact with government clients and agencies.
- Build long-term relationships with ministries like MOH, JDN, CGSO, and more.
- Represent our company in meetings, policy groups, and technical briefings.
4. Bridge Business & Tech
- Understand enough about IT systems and security to explain them clearly to non-tech stakeholders.
- Collaborate with tech teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and meet government standards.
5. Drive Project Execution
- Follow up on action items from meetings and keep everything on track.
- Ensure deadlines, compliance, and performance standards (SLAs) are met.
- Manage monthly reports, budgets, and invoicing.
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years of experience in business, contracts, and working with government projects.
- Strong grasp of how public sector procurement works (tenders, contracts, direct deals).
- Solid negotiation and presentation skills—able to speak confidently with senior officials and executives.
- Enough tech knowledge to understand cloud, software, and cybersecurity (you won’t need to code!).
- Experience working with ministries like MOH, JDN, CGSO is a huge plus.
- You’re detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable handling complex deals.
