Your Responsibilites:
- Update products HS code in SEA countries through SAP and advise on the accurate products' HS code based on the products information.
- Advise on accurate HS code for the questioned products (new products and the goods that could be classified as various HS codes).
- Conduct internal customs audit through analyzing import/export declaration data.
- Conduct FTA origin verification mock audit through reviewing origin supporting documents.
- Establish customs compliance training program for internal stakeholders and develop the program.
- In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his/her superior that are essentially related to his/her duties.
Your Qualifications
- Completed study in the area logistics/supply chain management/foreign trade or comparable qualification.
- At least 5 years work experience in an international company in the area logistics/supply chain/ customs & trade compliance
- Strong knowledge of Customs valuation (WTO Customs Valuation Agreement) and work experience dealing with transfer pricing issues (e.g. transaction value, post TP adjustment and Advance Customs Valuation Arrangement).
- Strong knowledge of HS classification (e.g. understand General Rules of Interpretation (GRI), Legal note and explanation of heading accurately)
- Work experience dealing with FTA origin determination/origin verification (e.g. understand origin determination and origin verification process)
- Work experience defending post customs audit conducted by customs authority
- Work experience to identify company's customs compliance risks through analyzing import/export declaration data
- Good at understanding/interpretating of customs regulations
- Ability to drive self-initiated projects that impact multiple functions
- Knowledgeable in ERP/SCM/CRM systems (preferably SAP)
- Knowledgeable in Bl systems (preferably SPA BW)
- Oral and written presentation Skills
- Knowledgeable in Project Management methodology
- Knowledgeable in Logistics and Supply Chain Process (especially VSC)
- Knowledgeable in Business Laws Domestic and International Trade Knowledge
- Fluent Oral and Written English or German
- Knowledgeable in Foreign Trade and Customs Expertise
- Understanding of Domestic International Logistics Service Market
- Have a great Negotiation Skills
