Regional Head of E-Commerce
Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Head of E-Commerce to lead and grow our digital business across Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand & Taiwan. This role is responsible for driving e-commerce strategy, performance, and digital innovation across multiple markets, ensuring alignment with global business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, online sales, and cross-functional leadership. You are responsible for the sales performance, customer experience and the overall profitability.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute the regional e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business goals.
- Identify growth opportunities, new market entries, and digital trends within the region.
- Lead annual planning, forecasting, P&L and budgeting for the regional e-commerce business.
- Analyze sales data and performance, implementing strategies for growth and optimizing the online customer experience.
Performance & Operations
- Drive online sales performance across all platforms (own site, marketplaces, third-party platforms).
- Monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, AOV, ROI, and customer acquisition cost.
- Collaborate with logistics, finance, and operations to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer experience.
- Enhance the online shopping experience, focusing on customer retention and improving site functionality, garment rotation, and overall visibility.
- Handled TikTok content creation and management.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing regional e-commerce team.
- Collaborate closely with country-level e-commerce managers and functional leads.
Marketing & Merchandising
- Oversee digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, CRM, and social media campaigns.
- Ensure alignment between digital marketing efforts and product/brand positioning.
- Work closely with merchandising teams on product launches, pricing, and promotions.
Platform & Technology
- Enhance site functionality, user experience (UX), and mobile optimization.
- Stay current with e-commerce technologies, platform updates, and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the main point of contact for global and regional leadership regarding e-commerce initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with external partners such as digital agencies, tech vendors, and marketplace platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of e-commerce experience, with at least 3 years in a regional or leadership role.
- Proven track record in driving e-commerce growth across multiple markets.
- Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, marketplaces, TikTok whereas E-Commerce is mentioned).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin is a plus.
- Experienced in working effectively with cross-country and multicultural teams.
- Regional experience in E-Commerce is mandatory.
