
Product Planning Manager
Job Summary
Lead and Perform product planning and strategy ranging from market research, competitive analysis, product line-up planning and new product opportunities, pricing positioning, customer survey, product development coordination and communication internally and externally with related parties towards the success launching of new products.
Responsibilities
- Compile market research and analysis for features/content, segment, competitive product, volume and pricing analysis to prepare the new product proposal.
- Prepare product concept and development documents (from introduction to official model launch) pertaining to overall product line-up and strategy including equipment level, price, volume and positioning based on market analysis.
- Coordinate and communicate internally and externally with all related parties about product information and sharing of information during product development to ensure smooth product launching and meet the project / product objective.
- Monitoring and summarizing product issues (specification, equipment level, compatibility etc.) and finding solution / countermeasure with brand principal and manufacturing plant.
Qualification and Education:
Possess a recognized Degree in Business / Marketing / Engineering related fields.
Experience:
Min 4-6 years working experience in automotive field
Technical Knowledge / Skills:
In depth product knowledge, marketing analysis skills (product positioning, pricing, promotion) and market trend analysis and forecasting skills.
People Knowledge / Skills:
Good interpersonal & presentation skills, project management & planning skills, analytical and driven
