Who We Are Looking For

A strong operational and service minded team player who can work in a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our Luxembourg based team to provide a high quality of operational servicing that our client base in both Asia and Europe are accustomed to with MFEX.

In addition, we are also looking for an avid learner as the role will provide opportunities to learn the full end to end operational linkages between our clients, MFEX internal departments, custody and fund platforms.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

Liaising with Transfer Agent (TA) or Fund Management companies for account opening, trade placements, contract note chaser, cash settlements, corporate events, price chasing & reconciliation on behalf of the clients of MFEX for Global Fund Exchange (GFX) & Global Fund Platform (GFP).

To review fund’s prospectus and database maintenance. Handling onboarding & offboarding of clients of GFX / GFP. To perform trade inputting and confirmation in the GFX / GFP system with 100% accuracy. To maintain a strong data integrity within internal systems through validation and reconciliation between source data from TA, counterparts, and business service applications.

Liaising with Transfer Agent (TA) or Fund Management companies (FMC) for the contract note, statement, payment and other Rebates related queries on behalf of the clients of MFEX.

Responsible for transaction commissions processing, reconciliation follow up, payments and reporting for Rebates.

Setup of Rebates agreement, calculation, reporting, payment, cash investigation using the main in-house system (Rebates Processing Client)

To maintain a strong data integrity within internal systems through validation and reconciliation between source data from TA/FMC, counterparts, and business service applications.

To provide high quality service experience, answering enquiries and resolving problems with the TAs, advisors, and custodians. Seek operational improvements where possible, to facilitate take-on of additional activities through automation of existing activities. Identify and challenge non-standard/exception-based processes to ensure a thorough risk assessment has been completed with corresponding controls in place prior to implementation.

Participate in project(s) and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required. Partner with various internal teams within MFEX and business stakeholders to develop effective solutions and continually looking for ways to innovate to expand our service capabilities.

Ensure all the activities are completed and delivered within agreed time frames and to a high-quality standard.

Other ad-hoc tasks when assigned.

Requirements:

1-3 years of industry experience related to financial services operations with understanding of investment operations and operational excellence. Proficient in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in French is preferred. Well-developed organizational and critical thinking skills to resolve complex day to day issues independently.

Good interpersonal skills and networking abilities with sub-custodians and both internal/external departments. Detail oriented, excellent accuracy skills and good understanding in Trading & Market terms. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
