Your Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and manage cash flow statements to ensure effective fund utilization and liquidity planning.
  • Handle treasury-related tasks such as managing bank accounts, processing payments, and executing fund transfers.
  • Generate monthly financial reports, project costing summaries, and management reports for performance tracking.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate expense tracking and appropriate cost allocation.
  • Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to review budgets, update financial forecasts, and manage documentation.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to support statutory audits and compliance reviews.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and provide reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
Requirement
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience; background in construction, engineering, or project-based industries is a plus.
  • Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of project costing and budget monitoring is highly desirable.
  • Familiar with Malaysian tax regulations and statutory compliance.
