Information Technology Manager
Our client needs an IT networking and infrastructure manager with exposure to QAD ERP and from a Manufacturing background .
Objective
1) To evaluates and provide solution to the Group’s existing IT structure, policies and plan.
2) To kick start the IT structure, policies and plan that can support the business goals throughout the Group.
Responsibilities:
1) To attend the Group’s meeting on IT related matters.
2) To provide solution to improve IT policies, structure and plan.
3) To conduct research and analysis on market practices upon request.
4) To identify, recommend and implement improvement plan with regards to IT related matters.
5) To handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department.
6) To monitor network utilization and performance, implements procedures for network optimization, reliability and availability.
7) To identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
8) To prepare IT infrastructure and improvement reports for Management use.
9) To communicate the IT related matters with all level of employees effectively.
10) Supervisory role to manage resources efforts in meeting KPIs set.
11) Analyze the business processes and requirements and translate it into IT solutions.
12) Recommend appropriate technologies for IT infrastructure and systems that can effectively drives and serves the company's needs
13) Ensure that the IT department is providing prompt IT support to end users
14) Monitor IT performance regularly to avoid unplanned outages and down times.
15) Develop and retain strong functional capabilities and skills with IT through employee development such as conduct training relevant in IT.
16) Coordinate with IT team at subsidiaries (manufacturing) to ensure that technology, infrastructure and operational requirements are met.
17) Performing hands-on setup, administrations of servers, network and appliances.
18) To undertake any other tasks, assignment or projects as assigned by Manager from time to time.
19) To monitor and review IT execution daily work routine.
20) Liaise with 3rd party service provider of any services to improve operational efficiency.
Qualification:
Preferably Bachelor in Information System, Information Technology or Computer Science.
Requirements:
6 - 10 years of experience in the industry.
Experience in ERP & Manufacturing.
Salary budget - Upto RM 10K
