Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing professional located in Kuala Lumpur City. The primary responsibilities will include managing the entire purchasing process, handling purchase orders, and overseeing procurement activities. The role involves assessing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The candidate will be required to analyze purchasing trends, forecast demands, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives. Effective communication with internal teams and external vendors is a key part of the job.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Orders
- Skills in Purchase Management and Procurement
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans
- Source, negotiate, and establish long-term partnerships with reliable suppliers
- Conduct cost analysis and budget planning to improve cost efficiency and quality
- updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new product innovations
- Previous experience in a purchasing role is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
