Job Overview: Responsible for delivering comprehensive onsite IT support across JOS business sites. This includes performing in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of end-user issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and enterprise software applications. The role involves deployment and configuration of new hardware, software installation, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal user experience and system functionality. Key Responsibilities: • Provide timely response to Service Desk tickets, phone calls, and emails requesting technical support. • Deliver first-level support for operating systems, enterprise business applications, and miscellaneous software. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to end-user computing devices, mobile devices, and printing equipment. • Deploy, configure, and image desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals as required. • Maintain accurate and timely updates in the Service Desk system to ensure quality and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). • Serve as the primary onsite technical point of contact and act as an IT liaison to internal departments. • Deliver both desk-side and remote support during business hours and on standby as needed (24x7 availability when required). • Travel to other business locations to provide support, ensuring consistent service across all sites. • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and user satisfaction. Qualifications & Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT support is an advantage. (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.) • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. • Self-motivated, well-organized, and results driven. • Willingness to travel and provide offsite support as required. • Must be a Malaysian citizen.
