The Opportunity

Our partner, who offers a wide range of insurance services in commercial auto, travel, homeowners, personal accidents, and farms is currently looking for a Broker Administration Officer to join their growing team!

This role will help you to become involved in influencing events actively and proactively to achieve goals by working effectively without supervision or close instruction; acting to achieve goals beyond minimum requirements; thinking constructively and presenting suggestions about improvements to the job and the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing of manual Invoices and Schedules.
  • Arranging Certificates of Currency for all classes of Insurance.
  • Preparation of Renewal Reviews for Brokers.
  • Obtaining Claims Histories from Insurers.
  • Management of Client Debtors.
  • Follow up of outstanding client documentation.
  • Uploading of documentation to Internal and External Systems including Filing.
  • Respond to enquiries and requests for action from the Onshore Team.
  • Checking Policy Documentation.
  • Work effectively with team/work group as well as with the team in onshore location to accomplish organizational goals.
  • Take initiatives on implementing process improvements.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Commerce/Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written) is mandatory.
  • Must have strong administration skills, experience a plus, preferably in the financial or insurance sector.
  • Fast learner and a team player.
  • Analytical, organized, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills required.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to change.
  • Able to execute sets of agreed processes to ensure efficient, timely and accurate information delivery.
  • Experience working with offshore/outsourcing firm will be advantageous.
  • Must be able to work during Australian Working Hours (6AM - 3 PM, KL time ) (Monday - Friday)
