Job Purpose:

Support the Group CEO by managing the Group’s financial operations, including Treasury, Financial Reporting, Strategic Planning, Risk Management, and Corporate Exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Group CEO with financial management and aligning the finance strategy with the company’s goals.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights into the Group’s performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare board meeting papers and quarterly Bursa reports.
  • Lead treasury management, financial planning, and margin forecasting.
  • Manage audits and ensure timely publication of financial statements.
  • Supervise tax planning and Transfer Pricing Documentation for the Group.
  • Lead the budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and internal control implementation.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents, and investors.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team and provide financial advice to the management team.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years of senior financial leadership experience, with proven success in turnaround and scaling businesses.
  • Prior experience in group consolidation is a must.
  • Experience with public listed companies will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting Standards, Bursa listing requirements, and statutory compliance.
  • Assertive leadership with the ability to stand your ground and guide the team effectively.
