The Technical Learning team is a dynamic group of passionate, fun-loving, and driven individuals from diverse backgrounds. We've come together with a shared goal: to elevate individual and organizational productivity by transforming Grab's engineering culture through knowledge management, engagement, and impactful training initiatives.

Our mission is to empower Tech Grabbers to thrive in their roles by being a center of excellence—providing a centralized platform for technical documentation and self-service learning, while delivering a robust, engaging onboarding and enablement experience for all engineers.

We're also exploring the use of AI-driven tools and automation to enhance learning experiences, improve documentation workflows, and scale knowledge sharing across the organization.

Get to Know the Role

As a program manager intern, you will play a hands-on role in the Tech Learning team and in encouraging a learning culture across Grab's technical functions. You will plan and execute impactful onboarding and training initiatives that empower our engineers and technical teams to grow and succeed in their roles. Excited and guided by a passion for helping others grow, you will strategize and implement ways to promote learning and make on-the-job development both fun and effective.

You will report to Manager II, Tech Learning. This is a paid internship role and is based onsite in Petaling Jaya.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Manage project schedules, identify potential risks, and goals and progress to key stakeholders.
  • Help develop a world-class onboarding experience by contributing to the Engineering Onboarding project.
  • Conduct research and gather training-related feedback from the engineering community through surveys, interviews, and one-on-one discussions.
  • Analyze feedback from different tech learning plans to identify insights and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and enhance existing on-demand training programs, and design engaging campaigns that make learning more engaging and enjoyable.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • You will need to start the internship in July 2025 with a minimum duration of 3 months.
  • Your studies as an Undergraduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
  • Passionate about promoting a culture of continuous learning
  • Ability in prioritizing goals according to business value and impact, and able to balance long-term vision with short and medium-term goals
  • Data-driven and result-focused
