JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop comprehensive performance test plans and strategies, encompassing all aspects of the testing process, including environment setup, data preparation, execution, monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
  • Perform load, stress, and scalability tests to evaluate the stability, scalability, speed, and responsiveness of software applications.
  • Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and QA teams, to address performance issues and uphold the highest testing standards.
  • Mentor QA team members on best practices and performance testing processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field that is recognized by the government from any local or abroad higher learning institution.
  • Must have at least 8 years of experience in designing, planning, and executing performance tests.
  • Experience with large-scale eCommerce or web applications is advantageous.
  • Proficient in creating performance benchmarks, testing microservices and cloud-based applications, and working within Agile teams. Strong analytical skills to interpret metrics and diagnose issues are essential.
  • Experience with Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and analysis, OpenShift (OCP) or similar microservices platforms, particularly in performance testing, cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure), and familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies is preferred.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or other relevant functional testing certifications are beneficial.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and others.
  • Strong understanding of performance concepts, test environment setup, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledgeable in application protocols, SQL, Java, Selenium, and DevOps practices.
  • Skilled in querying databases (e.g., SQL Server) to gather and analyze data relevant to performance testing.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze system specifications and resolve system issues.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data and systems.
