QA Inspector (Shift 7-7)

Job Title : Inspector Quality Assurance 1 Position Scope / Summary "The primary purpose of this position is to operate machines and inspect equipment used in the manufacturing of products and will work with other employees to effectively meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates. QA Inspector must obtain a basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques. Accountabilities & Responsibilities:- Adheres to Integer Core Value and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements. Focus in Quality of products. Read and follow operating manuals, maintenance instructions and procedures. Load components materials into product specific tools Follow established documentation for product manufacturing Documents all work performed on inspection reports and customer complaint Maintain the segregation of conforming vs. non-conforming products Performs in-process inspection of all parts and/or assemblies in accordance with the requirements stated in the work order or as otherwise stated on drawings or work instructions Performs visual inspection both unaided and using microscopes Performs various dimensional inspection using specific dies or gauges, or dimensional inspection system and micrometers Ability to perform basic manufacturing set up tasks Performs other duties as required. Education & Experience:- Minimum Education A minimum of SPM result Minimum Experience 1 year experience operating machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to learn how to read drawings and blueprints with a limited ability to interpret information. Knowledge & Skills : Special Skills:- N/A Special Knowledge:- Employee must comply with all safety policies and safe work procedures establish by the company. Job tasks may also involve: Using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, gloves and other equipment as established in company policies and safe work procedures. Working with cutting & machining fluids, lubricants and other hazardous chemicals using appropriate safety controls Employee will be expected to attend safety training, serve on the facility safety committee and participate in hazard analysis and resolution.
