Join our Finance team and advance your career as a ARC Senior Analyst.
The ARC Senior Analyst is responsible for managing various financial and operational tasks within the FBT framework. This role is accountable for general accounting and reporting, including month-end closing, group internal and external reporting, AR activities, trade loans and fixed asset management, audit and tax support, query resolution, contract renewals, and project support.
In this role You will:
- Handle and coordinate month-end / quarter-end closing activities including GL, AR, FA & TLS.
- Maintain accurate financial and other records (e.g. FA capitalization, journal entries, AR receipts, etc.) to ensure compliance with both local and BP Group reporting requirements.
- Monitor and ensure all AR and GL Integrity issues and Functional monitoring issues resolved by communicating and follow-up accordingly with the appropriate staff.
- Responsible in the preparation of financial reports including but not limited to group consolidation, management report, statutory and ad hoc reports that support business decisions.
- Diligently monitor and prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, obtain the necessary detailed transactions for the account, and timely follow up to resolve aged/ irregular items and call out when necessary.
- Monitor the AR ageing and bring up if any support is required in clearing the items.
- Support local statutory audits and ensure all required information and analysis (e.g. audit schedule) are submitted timely and accurately.
- Support the delivery of timely and accurate tax analyses through liaison with the Statutory Tax teams and external auditors.
- To support and work closely with business partners, FBT functions and other stakeholders in resolving issues and ensuring operational control are in place.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance, increase efficiency and support business strategic projects.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and a “play to win” attitude across team and broader function.
What You will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing Mandarin is required
- Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g. MIA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA). Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) (if managing Malaysian entities).
- Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in general and/or financial accounting with strong knowledge of external financial reporting regulation, intercompany transactions, fixed asset management, and audit processes.
- Proficiency in financial systems such as JDE.
- Excellent communication and query resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Familiarity with China GAAP is an added advantage.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS 365 App (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PBi etc).
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and remotely when required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
