Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Procurement Manager, the Service Leader – Procurement is responsible for retrieving electronic Purchase Lists and Non-Store Requests from SCM, processing Purchase Orders based on properly completed purchase requests. This position is also responsible for sourcing and maintaining relations with suppliers under the guidelines set by the Hotel’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in performing purchasing, functions for a large company, preferably a hotel.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
