About The Role
Job Title: Procurement / Senior Exec/ Assistant Manager
Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and components for R&D projects. s.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and develop strategies to meet those requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Assist in the assessment and selection of vendors, ensuring they meet quality and reliability standards.
- Monitor procurement metrics and prepare regular reports for the HQ, highlighting performance and improvement areas.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement, implementing innovative solutions to optimize processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Team player who can collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary environment.
