General Job Description Assist in preparing full set of accounts, day-to-day financial operations and ensure that accounting records comply with the approved accounting standards, related statutory and other requirements. Responsibilities 1. Responsible for day-to-day account and manage all accounting documentation and performing filing duties for efficient safekeeping. 2. Handle Accounts Payable related duties such as perform accounting entries, checking supplier invoices, process payments etc. in an accurate and timely manner. Monitor payment due dates. 3. Monitor Account Payable Ageing, perform vendor account reconciliation and payment in timely manner and liaise with vendor to resolve any discrepancy. 4. Handling Procurement matters from issue of Purchase Request Form until order placement with Supplier. 5. Maintaining Fixed Asset Register, ensure fixed asset movement update correctly and timely in system. 6. Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the monthly accounting reports and yearly financial and management accounting reports (P&L and balance sheet) before audit. 7. Assist in stock take exercise. 8. Handle petty cash by recording entries and verifying receipts and other supporting documents 9. Prepare inter-companies transactions report and reconciliation. 10. Perform other related duties in the areas of insurance, renewal of license, commercial vehicle inspection, utilities bills, quit rent, assessment, tenancies, fixed assets/bad debt/stock written off, etc. 11. Ensure compliance of the existing and new or amended laws; rules and regulations, SOP, policies and procedures of the Company. 12. Meeting given KPI that aligned with the department's strategy, which in turn aligned with the overall strategy of the Group. 13. Support HR Department pertaining to event coordination, employee welfare and other related activities. 14. Provide supports to the operation, in order to improve efficiency and overall service delivery. 15. Participate in the training program arranged by the Company in order to develop the knowledge, skills and competencies required for work performance improvement purposes. 16. Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the company Requirements 1. Possess at least Diploma Certificate in Accounting, Finance or related fields. 2. Minimum 2- 3 years’ experience in accounting / finance field 3. Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedure. 4. Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors. 5. Proficient in SAP B1 accounting software and Microsoft offices. 6. Proactive, meticulous, has a good sense of responsibility, and attention to details. 7. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information and have high integrity. 8. Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia [mandarin spoken candidate will have an added advantage]
