What You'll Do
The SEA Career Development and Integration (CD&I) Specialist/Senior Specialist is part of the HR Team in Southeast Asia (SEA). Working together with the Career Development and Integration Manager, he/she will provide support to the CD&I process to develop and manage the consulting talent pool. The CD&I Specialist/Senior Specialist will also work closely with members of the Consulting Team and the broader Consulting HR team at both the SEA, Asia Pacific and Global levels to deliver an excellent CD&I process for the SEA Consulting team and will be instrumental to ensure successful adoption and change management efforts towards moving to a new CD&I Management system.
A successful candidate for the CD&I Specialist/Senior Specialist role needs to be well-organized, service oriented, efficient and smart. He/she enjoys a dynamic working environment partnering with stakeholders across different levels and has a strong strive for excellence. He/she should also have strong interest to learn about career development and integration; and is motivated to develop new ideas to continually improve the career development and integration process for the Consulting Team. He/she also needs to be experienced in managing large amount of data and performing analysis using Excel and drawing relevant insights.

Career Development
- Facilitate quarterly CD meetings and work with CD Chairs and Advisors to drive cohort interventions
- Own the CD process end-to-end, from locking in dates for CD meetings with multiple senior stakeholders to preparing the meeting agenda with particular consideration to promotion schedules
- Prepare summaries for pre-CD discussion with CD Chairs
- Prepare materials for career development meetings and support meeting logistics to ensure meetings run smoothly
- Work with Career Advisors to ensure documentation for CD meetings are well prepared
- Cross check and calibrate evaluations and engage independently with evaluators to ensure robust feedback
- Attend meetings, take minutes and prepare post meeting material (travel may be required)
- Brainstorm and strategize with CD Chair on cohort themes and plan relevant interventions
- Support CD process – regular operations
- First point of contact for all CD related questions, including conducting orientation on CD for new hires
- Independently allocate Career Advisors for all consulting staff
- Support in bonus process for non-Officer-consulting staff
- Coordinate and support CD for transfer candidates (in/outbound)
- Support partnership in identifying and developing high potential individuals and ensuring retention and eventual successful progression to Partnership
- Induct, monitor and manage candidates on the MBA sponsorship program
- Coordinate with peers from other teams (e.g., Finance, Human Resources) and with counterparts across the region to maintain accuracy of information on systems
- Independently propose initiatives and work with manager in developing and continuously improving Consulting Team’s career development framework and process
- Develop initiatives to improve Career Advisor quality & overall CD effectiveness
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding all career development matters
- Maintain database
- Maintain well organized and up-to-date digital files for each member of the SEA consulting staff
- Request, track and collect case evaluations and feedback forms on a weekly basis
- Update CD system in a timely manner
- Generate reports and perform data analysis for pre- and post-CDC reporting as well as ad-hoc requests
- Prepare relevant HR reports – attrition, tenure on a monthly basis for the regional and global teams
- Work closely with the Integration chair to drive the overall agenda and strategic thinking for lateral hire integration function in BCG SEA across CT, ECT and TIC cohorts
- Ensure successful and timely completion of the integration plan for all lateral hire candidates and implementation of the plan
- Perform and oversee regular check-ins with the experienced hires and transfers
- Work closely with various stakeholders across People team and the senior leadership team on interventions as may be required for smooth integration of lateral hires and transfers
- Facilitate and organize regular catch-up events for the lateral hires and transfers

- Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in the HR field, ideally in Performance Management
- Bachelor/Masters degree, preferably with business or HR focus
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
