About the Role - You will support the Quantity Survey department in the administration and coordination of contracts, tenders, procurement processes, and progress claims. This role ensures that documentation is accurate, deadlines are met, and project records are effectively managed.
Responsibilities
- Tender Administration - by maintaining tender registers and track submission deadlines. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and quotations.
- Progress Claims - by preparing and submitting monthly progress claims to clients. Assist in tracking project milestones and work progress for claim accuracy. Support the QS team in collating site reports and certification.
- Subcontractor Reports - Raise and manage subcontractor Letter of Awards. Ensure supplier and subcontractor documentation is complete and compliant.
- Contract Documentation - Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing subcontracts and supplier agreements. Maintain updated records of all contract correspondence and variations.
- Administrative Duties - Maintain accurate filing systems (physical and digital). Schedule reminders for deadlines and ensure follow-ups.
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Procurement
- 2 years' experience in an administrative role (preferably construction)
- Familiar with Contract Terms (PAM, CIDB)
- Fast with MS Office Suite - Excel, Word
- Experience with Autocad/tender software advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be proficient in English
