PRECISION WIRE CUT MACHINE SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION CIRCLE SPIN PRECISION ENGINEERING SDN BHD seeks a PRECISION WIRE CUT MACHINE SPECIALIST to help design test our planned upcoming projects with create dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s name. • Develop advanced CNC wire EDM programs using CAM software • Create multi-pass cut strategies to balance precision, surface finish, and wire wear. • Perform programming to setup and operate CNC wirecut machine. • Make 2D and 3D programs by using the Software • Plan and design the fixtures required to do the 5-axis CNC EDM wire • Optimization of CNC wirecut machine parameters to achieve the highest speed and reduction of surface defects. • Responsible in technical specification and blueprints and use approved methods of machining in manufacturing • Perform CNC wirecut machine operations and perform machine programming • Set up and operate CNC wirecut machines to cut and shape various precision parts. • Generate 3D profiling paths for complex geometries using CAD-to-EDM workflows. • Design zero-draft features on progressive tool punch components. • Interface directly with 3D CAD teams to reduce post-processing time. • Apply automated corner relief and radius compensation in dies. • Create parametric template libraries for recurring tooling parts. • Automate start-hole positioning using integrated probing systems. • Integrate QR-code-based file loading for traceable production. • Interpret GD&T blueprints to extract true positioning for wire cutting. • Use non-contact 3D measurement systems for delicate EDM profiles. • Develop and document optimized parameter sets for exotic materials. • Integrate tool changers for automated start-hole drilling. • Develop fixture strategies to eliminate part float and thermal growth. • Reduce burn cycle times using adaptive cut-speed strategies. • Design burn strategies for carbide, tungsten, and powdered metals. • Monitor and improve overall equipment effectiveness • Design burn strategies for carbide, tungsten, and powdered metals. • Develop fixture bases for 5-face access in complex profiles. • Evaluate bio-compatible alloys for implant wire cutting. • Design special purpose jigs for odd-profile burn setups. • Develop training content for EDM apprentices and interns. • Document case studies on burn integrity failures and corrections. • Mentor apprentices for certification in precision EDM technologies. • Develop onboarding plans for new EDM hires. Required Skills: The required skills for the position PRECISION WIRE CUT MACHINE SPECIALIST are as follow: Min 5 year’s exp in CNC wirecut machine Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Adhere to safety and quality policies. Effective problem-solving abilities. Keep maintenance data and report on daily activities. Candidate must possess relevant education certification. Implementation of hybrid EDM processes Use of SEM for fine defect analysis.
