A Global Automotive & Components Manufacturing Business is looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead its critical operations functions
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing process development as well as product design and transfer to mass production
- Oversee the entire operation of the division including production, engineering, quality control, production planning and control, tooling, projects and machine maintenance to achieve the division target
- Ensure operations adhere strictly to operating procedures, maintenance program and quality and safety requirement from international quality standard
- Manage and develop staff – grow, develop and retain technical skills in order to meet operation needs / business growth
- Act as change agent to drive changes and continuous improvements to bring organization to world class standard
- Communicate with senior management and stakeholders from different functions (e.g. design engineering, quality, process engineering etc.)
- Actively drive current process to Digital Transformation close loop manufacturing and continues process improvement thru AI tools
Required Skills:
- Degree or above in Engineering / Manufacturing Management or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years’ working experience from sizeable manufacturing companies
- Experienced in management of high-volume manufacturing operation
- Background from automotive industry preferred
- Solid working knowledge in Metal, Injection, CNC machines and precision components manufacturing environment
- Familiar with lean manufacturing and good knowledge of process improvement tools
- Experience in Industrial 4.0 Factory digital transformation & Process Automation
- Familiar with quality tools
