Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Conceptualize, plan, implement and monitor various marketing and communication activities to support the generation of revenue as well as development of a strong position for the mall in the industry.
- Ensure that all income channels are implemented, continuously monitored and reviewed to maximize income as well as to develop new income channels.
- Ensure the successful lease out of the mall’s promotional or exhibition spaces, advertising panels, push carts and kiosks for revenues and in accordance with the standard SOPs.
- Control the expenses for the department in accordance with the operating needs.
- Prepare the annual budget which includes the forecast that may be requested by the Management.
- Plan and direct a variety of marketing, promotion and thematic events which include creative concept and design ideas to enhance the shoppers’ traffic to the mall.
- Establish rapport with tenants to ensure good communications and develop opportunities for beneficial collaboration between mall and tenants.
- Ensure that the mall Website and Social Media applications such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. are well managed and up to date.
- Work closely with the Group Marcom and provide support in various group initiatives, mall integrated events and loyalty programmes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising / Media, Art Design, Creative Multimedia, Mass Communications or equivalent;
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience with 3 years at the managerial position in a similar capacity;
- Possess interest and passion in shopping mall business. Previous exposures in shopping complex, retail environment or hospitality industry would be an added advantage.
- Creative, dynamic and resourceful with good media and relevant promotional partners’ contacts.
- Good knowledge of advertising, public relations, media, corporate branding or graphic design would be an added advantage.
- A proven ability to work at both strategic and tactical level; not afraid to get into details and execute work as needed ( e.g. write the brief, execute campaigns down to tiniest details ).
