Operations Manager

Job Summary: The Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end operations of the Glasshouse, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellence in service delivery. This role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and coordination across various departments to achieve organizational goals and provide an exceptional visitor experience.. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic operational plans and SOPs to improve efficiency and productivity. Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Glasshouse and ensure alignment with company goals. Lead and supervise all internal teams and third-party service providers, including maintenance, IT, guest services, and horticulture. Monitor performance metrics, prepare operational reports, and provide updates to senior management. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards. Manage operational budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation. Coordinate with HR and other departments on staffing, training, and development needs. Resolve operational issues effectively and in a timely manner. Maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities. Support planning and execution of events, launches, and other site activities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Facilities, or related field. At least 5–7 years of relevant experience, with proven leadership in a managerial role. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willing to work full-time in Genting Highlands and in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Added Advantage: Experience in managing large-scale glasshouse / greenhouse or tourism-based operations. Strong understanding of climate control systems, irrigation setups, and structural maintenance related to glasshouse/greenhouse environments. Familiarity with site construction coordination, environmental regulations, and energy-efficient operations.
