Job Summary

The Senior Quality Manager will oversee quality operations across multiple manufacturing sites in the ASEAN region. This role will lead quality management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The position will focus on harmonizing quality processes across locations, implementing best practices in supplier quality management, risk mitigation, new product introduction (NPI), and lean methodologies to drive operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities

Quality Management & Compliance

  • Oversee and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) across ASEAN sites, ensuring compliance with ISO and IATF standards.
  • Serve as the lead representative for customer audits and third-party certifications, ensuring sites meet or exceed quality expectations.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for quality performance, driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) where necessary.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and continuous process improvement.
  • Manage customer complaints, field returns, and warranty claims, utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and FMEA.

New Product Introduction (NPI) & Supplier Quality Management

  • Oversee Quality Engineering for NPI, ensuring robust APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and validation processes for new product launches.
  • Develop and implement supplier quality management programs, conducting audits and ensuring corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality from development through mass production.

Continuous Improvement & Leadership

  • Drive Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and eliminate waste.
  • Lead cross-site quality standardization initiatives to ensure best practices across ASEAN operations.
  • Provide training and mentorship to regional quality teams, fostering a culture of quality ownership.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term quality strategies, ensuring sustainable operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial)
  • 12+ years in Quality Management, with at least 5 years in a regional or leadership role
  • ISO 9001 Certified Auditor
  • Strong expertise in APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA
  • Proven track record in supplier quality management and regulatory compliance
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing multi-site operations across ASEAN markets
  • Background in high-precision manufacturing, electronics, or automotive industries
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, VDA / CQI certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
