Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically competent QA Manager to lead the quality function in a high-mix, precision-driven high pressure die casting (HPDC) and CNC machining environment. The QA Manager will be responsible for the overall quality strategy, compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement to achieve world-class standards in casting and machining quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Management System (QMS):
  • Maintain and continuously improve ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certified systems. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and relevant standards.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and develop the QA team, including Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and QC Technicians. Set KPIs, conduct reviews, and provide training.
  • Customer Quality:
  • Handle customer complaints (8D, 5-Why, Root Cause Analysis), audits, and quality-related communications. Lead containment, corrective, and preventive action plans.
  • In-Process and Final Inspection:
  • Oversee dimensional and visual inspections (CMM, VMM, gauges). Ensure gaging and calibration systems are maintained.
  • Internal Audits and Compliance:
  • Plan and execute internal audits. Coordinate external audits by customers or certifying bodies.
  • Data & Reporting:
  • Track and analyze key quality metrics such as scrap rate, in-process rejection, customer return rate, and process capability (Cp, Cpk). Present findings to leadership and recommend improvements.
  • Supplier Quality:
  • Oversee incoming quality control (IQC) and supplier quality performance. Audit and develop key suppliers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in QA roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in a precision manufacturing environment (die casting and/or CNC machining preferred).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, using CMM/VMM, and metrology tools.
  • Experience in problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience dealing with international customers (Europe, US, Japan).
  • Familiarity with aluminium and zinc alloys (e.g., ADC12, LM6, Zamak).
  • ERP system familiarity (Navision, Monitor ERP).
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is a plus.
